MA PROVENCE and its deliciously evocative fragrances… For your very great pleasure, Ma Provence has selected four flowers with distinctive scents that celebrate the joy of living.
Almond Blossom, Vine Blossom, Lavender Blossom and Orange Blossom, four original scents that celebrate the joy of living that is so typical of Provence.
The Almond tree, considered sacred by many, blooms early and profusely. It possesses a host of beneficial powers. Its blossom, symbol of sweetness, is recognised for its softening and nourishing virtues. Ideal for dry skin, it restores elasticity and leaves a fresh and refined scent that calls to mind the orchards of Provence.
Grown by the Greeks and Egyptians, the grape vine is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world. The short-lived bloom of this little white flower, which occurs in June, heralds the grape harvest 110 days later. Moisturizing and revitalizing, Vine Blossom releases lively and invigorating notes that conjure up images of Provencal vineyards.
Originally from Persia, and considered a “precious plant” by the Romans who used it to perfume their linens and their baths, Lavender Blossom is highly-prized for its purifying properties. Its powerful, stimulating fragrance instantly transports you to the meadows of Provence.
Used in ancient times to make crowns for brides, this pure white flower blooms in Provence in April and May. Orange Blossom is suitable for sensitive and fragile skin types thanks to its moisturizing and toning properties. It reveals a sweet, slightly bitter fragrance, which some say is at the origin of the Parfumerie de Grasse.
